Apartment for Sublet, available from January 1st-May 15th 2010. The last day could be negotiable if you would prefer June 1. Its a spacious and sunny studio apt on Comm Ave + Kelton/Warren in Brighton. The address is 1444 Commonwealth Avenue and its on the Warren T-Stop off of the B line. However, this apt faces an inner courtyard so its very quiet. No street noise.

Its centrally located- its near Whole Foods, Shaws, a laundromat, a dry cleaners, CVS, a bar (Harry’s is on the corner), and the restaurants on Washington, and close to Harvard Ave (10 min walk). Rent is $900 a month. Utilities are quite cheap as heat and hot water are included. Cable + Internet is $40 (I have the cheapest package), Nstar + National Grid (Keyspan Energy) are about $15 each. The building allows cats, but no dogs.

If you would like to see pictures or come see the apartment let me know. See map here.

Let me know if you are interested. Alexis Ruginis, alexis.ruginis@gmail.com. If you know of anyone that might be, please let me know. Feel free to forward.

Schweitzer Fellowship Information Session: Want to make a difference? – Boston Schweitzer Fellows Program, Information Session 10/8 The Boston Schweitzer Fellows Program supports graduate students committed to becoming “leaders in service”-individuals who are dedicated and skilled in addressing the health needs of underserved populations, and whose example influences and inspires others. Each year, we select up to 30 graduate students from multiple schools and health related disciplines, including law, each of whom designs and implements their own 200-hour community service projects addressing local unmet health needs. In the process, Fellows develop as lifelong leaders in service through a year-long program of leadership development training, peer reflection, and mentoring. The Fellowship is open to students enrolled in a professional degree program through April 2011; Fellows receive a $3,000 stipend. Applications are due February 1.

To learn more about the Fellowship attend an information at BC Law on Thursday 10/8 at 12:30 p.m. in Stuart 409.

More information about the program and the application is located online at: www.schweitzerfellowship.org/features/us/bos/ .
